Autorun is the built-in feature of Windows that allows applications to run automatically from USB/CD drives as soon as they are inserted. This feature is often exploited by Viruses to spread from one system to another without user's knowledge. Due to these security concerns it is always advised to Disable Autorun on your system.

Here are separate instructions for Disabling and Enabling Autorun

• Run 'Windows Autorun Disable' on your system
• Click on 'All Drives' to disable Autorun on all drives
• Else click on 'Selected Drives' and choose the Drive Types to selectively disable Autorun. You have to check at least one of the drive types.
• Next select user level (either Current User or All users) to apply changes
• Finally click on 'Disable Autorun' to disable it and restart your computer for changes to take effect.
