For each discovered Wi-Fi hotspot device, it displays following information

• WiFi Name (SSID)
• Security/Authentication (WEP/WPA/AES/TKIP)
• Signal Strength
• Channel Number/Frequency
• Physical Type (802.11a/b/g/n)
• MAC Address
• Last Detected Time

After the completion of scan, you can save the discovered Wi-Fi Hotspot list HTML/XML/TEXT/CSV file.

Here are the simple steps,

• Launch WiFi Hotspot Scanner on your system
• By default it will display current list of Wi-Fi devices around you.
• To initiate fresh scan, click on 'Start Wi-Fi Scan' button and you will see the fresh list of Wireless hotspots along with existing list.
• Finally you can generate wifi hotspot scan report in HTML/XML/Text/CSV format by clicking on 'Export' button and then select the type of file from the drop down box of 'Save File Dialog'.
